A seasoned Hollywood veteran of Carol was educated at the University of California Los Angeles and is experienced in the production of both feature films and television. Her resume includes Director of Business Development at Jim Henson Studios (Muppets), Visual Effects Producer for Tippet Studio (X-Men Orgins, The Golden Compass), and work on the television series "The Simpsons". Films she has been involved in have grossed over 2.4 billion worldwide and her visial effects departments have been nominated for 2 Academy Awards, winning in 2007 for the work on "The Golden Compass".
David Spiegelman is a film and television director born and raised in Northern California. He studied at Emerson College in Boston, MA and graduated with a BA in Film.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2004, Spiegelman has worked with New Regency Studios, Mandalay Pictures, Cheyenne Enterprises, Universal Studios and spent 3.5 years apprenticing under director Jon Turteltaub (COOL RUNNINGS, PHENOMENON) on the CBS shows Jericho and Harpers Island, as well as National Treasure: Book of Secrets.
David most recently directed “Chance of Showers”, a short film conceived in collaboration with writer Chris Merrill starring Robert Glen Keith and Rachel Boston that is currently touring the film festival circuit. He is attached to direct LUCKY BUDDHA, a feature film written and produced by Dudi Avni and also has a variety of other television shows and feature films that he is currently developing to produce and/or direct.
Erik combines a history of fine art and mainstream technical experience to his work. He was recently honored with a Goldenfrog nomination at the prestigious Cameraimage Film Festival in Lodz, Poland for his work on “In A Dream”. His recent work includes “Wait For Me”, a documentary for Academy Award winning filmmaker Ross Kauffman, “Chance of Showers” directed by David Spiegelman, and “The Sphere” directed by Nicholas Militello.
Prior to his work as a cinematographer, Erik worked as an assistant to photographer Gregory Crewdson and a lighting designer and fabricator for artists Mike and Doug Starn in New York City. He has also worked as a gaffer on Major Motion Pictures such as Iron Man 2, The Number 23, Hard Candy and television shows such as Fox’s Bones, AMC’s Mad Men, and Paramount’s Everybody Hates Chris, as well as Brad Pitt’s video portrait. Erik has shot music videos for artists such as The Brazilian Girls, The 88, Iglu and Hartly, and The Deftones. He is a graduate of Emerson College where he studied Cinematography.
Marci has been responsible for casting some of Hollywood's most popular movies ever: E.T., Blade Runner, A Christmas story, Footloose, Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, Pretty In Pink, Insomnia, Mean Girls, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Mr. Poppers Penguins and many, many more.
